How to install a graphics card

i am trying to install 9400Gt nvidia graphic card with the graphic card they give me a wire about 15cm long.
what do i do with the wire.
i saw the wire you installer in your video in 1:41 minutes. please check the video you will get the idea what i am talking about.

lol, the xpress 200 is not a graphics card, its part of the motherboard, and no, you don’t need to get rid of it, just go into your bios and turn of the integrated graphics.

@TheStickyanimations No. Some motherboards only support PCL or AGP slots. Most good graphics cards are PCL Express 2.0

[..YouTube..] @XIronChancellorX I guess it’s because the video(s) assume you have a brain? The reason they don’t show you how to open the case is because every case opens differently. That, and most people can figure out how to open their own case by inspection; it’s not rocket science. I’m sure if you actually took a good look at your case, you could figure out how to open it in less than 10 minutes. Once open, it’s a matter of just sticking it in the slot. And yes, you might need a screwdriver.

[..YouTube..] @DarrenGriffitt consider the geforce 460 SE. it should work and is fairly cheap if you look around.The SE versions are slightly tuned down but it should be more than enough to keep you going for a while and will probably be much cheaper. If you want to go cheaper just make your way down this list…google “tom’s hierarchy chart december” and use the first link.good luck!

[..YouTube..] I’m thinking of getting a new card for my PC. What would be the prices for a decent card that can play a game like, say mass effect 2 or the sims 3 on moderate graphics. My current card(the one that came with my Pc) can play them but only on the lowest settings and never really gets a solid frame rate. Thanks in advance.
