Water Cooling ATI HD4870 graphic card

High End graphic cards need High End Cooling. This tutorial shows the mounting of an aqua computer watercooling block aquagratix 4870 on a ATI Radeon HD4870.

i get on my stock cooling sapphire radeon hd 4870 1 gb ddr5 i get 47c idle and 55-60 at load in various games.(60% fan speed no o/cing)

my powercolor 4870 @800mhz core and 1100 mhz memory doesnt go over 61-62 C even with the hot ambient temp in my case…why would i need water cooling

Hey i have a question i intend to buy a replacement cooler for my 4870 however it is a air cooler would this tutorial apply to an air cooler also is applying thermal paste to the voltage regulators neccescery.

@firstironman That would be punch in the face, with the price of gtx295 u can get like 2 or 3 hd 4870s into crossfire and THAT kicks ass :D
