Yeah the 7300 is shit I accidentally touched it while my Mac Pro was on and for some reason it stopped working with VGA monitors, I have a DVI monitor now but I’m still going to upgrade it sooner or later becasue its just slow as piss.

He could just use Crossover software to play his Windows games on the Apple Computer… (it only £25) compare that to the cost of Windows…

I think you should wait until Windows 7 comes out. Much safer, and it apparently runs faster than Windows XP! Either way, great video. Hope you run into no problems with the ATI card.

[..YouTube..] any computer will run without video card drivers, because most OS’s have a generic driver built in so you can see what you’re doing. You just wont have any eyecandy enabled. like aero for windows or quartz for OS X.

[..YouTube..] tie a fucking chain to your computer and make it a boat anchor. I cant believe how proprietary apple is. You cant even use an AMD processor emplace of an Intel. You also have to buy specific video cards to make the damn thing work. Plus everything is so damn expensive for a Mac. PC for the win just because of common sense.

[..YouTube..] Hey Dave, i know you had that Dell monitor hooked up to your Powerbook at some point. Ever have screen flicker issues with that monitor when it is set to max resolution? My 1.67GHZ G4 will make my external flicker unless I set it to 1280×1024 and not 1680×1050. Just wondering if you ran into this issue.

[..YouTube..] There are no drivers for video cards, OS X gets drivers through OS updates, so no hassle as in Windows granted that your card is has EFI firmware.Blue Radeon is PC and Mac compatible although firmware could be flashed using certain standard PC video cards which is way less expensive. as for card being old… this comes from fat PC kids who’s life consists of constantly souping up their PCs without really knowing much about it.
