thats sweet you should also give the option to get the single slot head on the card. that would be better.

Comment from ModMyMachine
Time: February 26, 2009, 8:08 am

Be careful with the thermal paste, looks like it contains silver :) .I always use ceramique for RAM.

Comment from SouseMyBouse
Time: May 3, 2009, 7:12 pm

Did he say… on the gpu, on the ram, and on the sack of shit?

Comment from gamerx711
Time: May 7, 2009, 5:51 pm

It’s a 2 slot card…

Comment from WestCoastMods
Time: May 17, 2009, 2:15 am

nice, may WC my 285′s also. 5/5 You should use something else than a piece of cardboard to spread thermal grease, may leave micro fibers behind. A clean piece of plastic works great, such as a credit card. Also it will hold up better than cardboard. JMOLazyMan

Hey there, nice tutorial btw.I’ve been using my evga ssc 285 sli for a while now. Air cooled.everything is fine idle, but on load i have to run 70%+ fan speed to match the heat and it sounds like an air-plane SLI with these cards are making the airflow to the first card lower, and I also have a sound card in my 3rd pci-e so the 2nd 285, also dont get the best airflow, even tho my case wich is well ventilated with 7 Noctua fans running with 12v all the time(case only, 2 more on the cpu)

[..YouTube..] Hey there, nice tutorial btw.I’ve been using my evga ssc 285 sli for a while now.
