Question jb : Is the video card “bit” the same as Nintendo 64 and Playstation ?
I have a map of 8600 to 128 bits. Is it the same rating Nintendo and all other systems use “grade” there? Like n64 and PS2 to 128 bits. Best answer:

I wouldnt compare your 8600 to a n64 or a PS2 … But it is important to know that the higher the bit rate on a video card the better. The measurement of “bits” is the same but it is measuring something completely different when comparing a game system and video card.

when you say your card is 8600 128-bit, thats the reference bandwidth of memory, not processor réel.le 8600 is a 256-bit processor.

In fact, the 128-bit card for 8600 is the memory interface bandwidth and no treatment. Regarding the GPU itself is at stake is the bandwidth of 256-bit processing is what you compare it to the Nintendo 64 GPU 64-bit and 128-bit GPU video cards may have PS2.Autres memory interfaces up to 32-bit to 384-bit, but all modern GPUs (DX8/9/10) will be a 256-bit GPU.
