sara_p_14 Question : I need to transfer a video of “bands” of “map” of a video camera. How can I do this?
I have a Canon ZR65 MC. I recorded a video for my class to talk about the band. I connected the camcorder to the computer and did not pick up anything. I switched the camcorder on “map” and the computer found the device. How can I transfer the video to the card? Best answer:

the card is the SD card you have there for images only, the DV tape is what you need to use to transfer video to your computer and then transfer them to your card (with a capacity permitting), you connect the cable that came with a small DV camera connection, and the butt of your computer, transfer using Windows Movie Maker or iVideo (Mac), then plug your camera and when the card is recognized as a removable disk, then transfer the digital video transfer to it.

The card is for images. Minidv requires a FireWire connection, so your PC needs a firewire card. Most computers do not come with a firewire card, your camera did not come with a firewire cable, you must purchase two.
