My old rig (Window XP Media Center 2005) isn’t what I consider a gaming desktop but I try to pretend it to be more than what it should be. I bought one of these due to their low price and them being practically the best graphic card that can utilize ddr2 memory. The one gig if VRAM really helps when you try to increase texture levels in games such as Starcraft 2 and by overclocking it, it rivals that of the HD 4670. We’ll worth the money in my opinion as it is a pretty mid-range gaming card and I’m sure the story is the same if you want to use it for other media functions such as blueray and HD streaming.

We bought this card for transmitting an HDMI signal from PC to LCD TV over two 25′ HDMI cables and the output is amazing ! movies are played on the pc and displayed on the LCD TV in crisp 1080p video quality. Output is just extremely impressive.
