@ Intanius Remember the ForceWare 196.75 drivers? They killed the video cards and left many people the shit out of luck. I was one of them. I have owned five Nvidia cards that are all dead. I have owned two ATI cards are still working. Both companies have great performance but I got sick of throwing money at Nvidia. I saw some great stuff with the ATI drivers, but I have seen problems with Nvidia drivers too.

@ Zomgbbqwth and can not say that when we compare the ATI 5000 series vs 400 series NVIDIA. ATI series are just a little more expensive in general. but they will go down soon, just before the release of the 6000 series.

I like both ATI and nVidia. I go with the GTX 470 on a 5870 because that’s about $ 70 cheaper and I can OVERVOLT it’s much easier and get more FPS than the 5870. I always ATi!

if you want to use DX11 win7, you need 5850 and above ~ this series is the one with the support of dx11 ati ~ i dono ABT 5830 but I’m sure 5850 and 5870 and 5970 and above are dx11 competible ~

@ Dchainsjuste to add some people who do not know>>> but for ATI CrossFire technology, both cards’ processing power does not add up and give better fps and more eye candy and other frmo AA (allowing you to max most games’ graphics settings) ~ but the memory does not work when you add two crossfire cards ~ namely: 1 GB and 1 GB of traffic is not = ~ 2 GB of memory:)
