@ TxmoneyOh Christ, he does not need 400 watts is a 66 watts and 75 watts cards can operate on a power of 300 watts, 400 watts they just say for a lot of cards because réelle.TechPowerUp 6670 show the critics to be more energy efficient than the GT 240 in most cases, a maximum of 61 watts used, less than 440 GT and 5670 as well.

Usul573 @ The 6670 can “own” … but to repeat, “under 400Watts” PSU is the main reason to own the GT240. The 6670 requires a power supply 400Watts or more.

The main reason is to get a GT240 for low power consumption. If you have a psu under 400Watts and do not want to upgrade then this is the type of card for you. If you want the best performing GT240, GT240 Palit Sonic edition with 1 GB DDR5 (factory overclocked) is the one to get. With the model of Palit, you will get performance approaching the 9600GT from NVIDIA.

@ Gavin66627Monitor automatically upscale the resolution, I think, the connection should be smart enough to display the image as best it peut.Je gave him a test once, and I played COD4 at 1024×600 with 2xAA MW2 PC, and I thought it looked like the PS3 and 360 versions, which is exactly how they courent.Bien sure it is child’s play for modern graphics cards.

@ Usul573 This is quite a good thing, why not games pc do this? If they could not they make games run and look better at half the price? Oh, and I am easily confused lol.

vertical sync set at 60fps on a TV and Xbox to handle any resolution 50-60fps no problem maybe ^ ^ Anyway you can benchmarck fps with a program to see that if the difference is not showing on the screen for you to see ..

@ Gavin66627Ne no mistake, Xbox 360 games run at a certain native resolution, then the system resolution upscaling.

@ RussG18 – If it has a PCI-Express slot on the motherboard, then you’re good to go.

@ Gollsodia yes mine is a reference. Reference maps are usually able to hit 850 to 900 in stock. The latest reference not do not seem so binned.

@ Rapistmurderer Wow, your card is a reference card? I use the Xtream Sapphire. I can not get my card stable at 765 to the voltage of stock or -. 1088 095 something like that.

@ Rapistmurderer course it did. The stock of 5850 is just below 6950. I did not get mine to run stable on the parameters of the CCC. What voltage do you run?

@ Gollsodia the 5850 outperforms a 5770 overclocked by almost 2x. I got mine working and they destroy 1000/1290 overclocked 6870 in every game, including 3D mark11

@ Brunorodrigues2060 I use XFX HD 5850 with 750 i5 2500k CF, works fine, but PSU XFX has a tendency to check, in many cases like mine: S The choice is yours.

@ Emiln96 I am still waiting for mine. I’m so excited panic. I’m tired of my 5770 and get 30 to 50 fps in GTA. I want 40-55. I think 5850 is going to push me into this range. I can not wait to panic.
