@ MrTheEgoMan this is true, I understand using the hexagonal cores for video editing and such because they take a little CPU, so in a utilitarian perspective it is certainly going to be more useful than a quad without a doubt. I was targeting the “gamer” crowd do not seem to quite understand how this thing works, but you have the right idea. sorry if it sounded like I was going down on you.

@ FalloutMan493 What you say is tottaly right. more cars will move more peeps. More cores will run more applications. All about multi-tasking and I apologize if I was misunderstood. I love my 1055T as it has good power for gaming but also for multi tasking is something I do while gaming. Having two screens alows me to use several programs simultaneously, and allows the processor 6-core course.

ALL OK I’ll put this quad core vs core hexagonal bs to rest. more cores does NOT mean better performance. a hexagon of 3.6 and 3.6 of a quad the same company will be identical in speed and here’s why. Say you have four cars running at 3.6 miles per hour. add two other cars passing 3.6 miles per hour are not other cars faster. If you have a large ego and feel like you want to have three running Crysis at the same time, then a hexagon will suit you best. MHz does add up. Quad 3.4> hex3.3

@ MrTheEgoMan I agree with you on this point, but the AMD Phenom X4 Black Edition 965 is much better in game then the 1055T as shown in the benchmarks. The 1055T is for rendering or multi-tasking. Basically, if you are a player to get the right edition 965 Black and you are more of a record or multi-Tasker then get 1055T.

@ BlaineDeschain The next time your comment, the sentence about who you are talking about. Do you even know why I bought a processor 6core? Do you even know if I am or not multi-tasking right now? It is not because its a clip of the video game that what I said applies only to video games as you seem to think.

@ MrTheEgoMan No, it would not. Because more cores does not mean more gaming performance, it’s great for multi-task with multiple threads programs, but games rarely, if ever, use more than 2 threads. If you buy these high-end components at least the trouble to learn how computers work.

loll how it was better than Phenom II 965? 2.8 MHz vs. 3.4 MHzPendant a moment I think do not exist any game or software to operate in six hearts! Peace D!

my system is similar to yours, but my 3.0 GHz AMD X4 945 is that it will not let me emulate DX11, if I can, but slightly delayed …

@ TheNewbpowner123Ouais, compare apples to apples. (Overclocked to overclocked). Stop 1055T is all about core 2.8GHz, its better then a non-OC 965. If you overclock both, the 1055T is even better.
