@overclockeador
Looks like the 6870 is a moderate boost over the 285.
In Bulletstorm and Black Ops it’s 6 FPS faster.

@keironewoodgate I’m not a big fan of SLI its cool but there’s no one out there making anything that really takes advantage of the technology , so i think a single card would probably be better. i mean i don’t no your setup so i wouldn’t say its best for every one put i think its the way to go

lol if u got a decent video card, no one needs stronger video cards unless you one of those gamers who cant run open world games on your PC cuz of video overclock.
other than that, stronger video cards are basically useless.

@an0nim0uz Sorry to hear that. Just think though that other nvidia cards are like that. I have used 5 different cards from them in my lifetime and never once had a driver issue.

@Jonathann1818 Every game I played it randomly got stuck and the screen went black. I had to tab out of the game and back to it so that it would run again. This would happen about every 3 minutes of gameplay. Sometimes I would have random screen tearing, too. When I sent my 285 back to get a new one, it would happen again. Then I switched to another card and it was fine.

I did some research on many forums, and many people were experiencing the exact same issues. :/

@an0nim0uz What problems did you have? I owned this card for almost 2 years and never once had a problem. And i used it a lot too.
