My new video card ATI seems to work strangely. When I play The Sims 2, on one occasion, my video card is not responding (or blocking) and prompts me to restart the computer. But when I saw my office (after The Sims 2 was closed) the graphics and the resolution was still même.Parfois, the computer turns off without authorization quick and when I play The Sims 2.Aurait be been too high graphic settings of The Sims 2? if your here right now … you should tell me which card you have … Grahics it may be the graphics card, processor overheating … not enough RAM … as it keeps closing … email me for more with this type of graphics card you have …. For example … ATI 9250, x700, x1900

very similar thing happened to me and since I do not know much about computer hardware I took it to a store and I brought my sims 2 disk so he can see what I was talking about. after all kinds of tests at the end it proved to be a map of defection because he put one of his own cards and everything worked perfectly, then he put my card back and it all went wrong again. I am still under warranty so im sending it back maybe you might need to do the same ..?
